(1) Introduction

We understand that from time to time you may wish to return a product to us.

We have created a 5 day free UK return policy and a 14 day returns policy to enable you to return products to us in appropriate circumstances.

The 14 day returns policy applies irrespective of your geographical location.

This policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have such as consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulations 2000.

(2) Free Returns (UK Only)

We offer a free 5 day UK return on any product purchased on the website. In order to take advantage of this offer, you will need to post the product to:

Criteria for free 5 day returns:

(a) The product must be posted within 5 days of receiving the goods (the first day is the day the product is signed for). A copy of the Royal Mail receipt must be included as evidence for the postage date;

(b) The product must be posted using Royal Mail First Class Signed (not special) delivery service ONLY.

(c) The returned product must be unused, in its original packaging, with any labels untampered with, and otherwise in a condition enabling us to sell the product as new. 

(d) You must include a copy of the invoice so that we can identify the customer for the refund/exchange.

If these criteria are met, we will either (at your discretion):

(a) Refund you the cost of the original product, including the cost of returning the product to us using the specified delivery service above, but excluding the original delivery charges.

Or

(b) Exchange the product for an alternative. Please use the Exchange form for this which will be in your delivery with the product. Staple and Ford will only refund the postage for 1 exchange. 

(3) Returns

Where you have no other legal right to return a product and receive a refund or exchange, then you will nonetheless be entitled to return a product to us where:

(a) The product is posted within 14 days following the date of delivery of the product (the first day is the day the product is signed for). A copy of the postage must be included as evidence for the postage date;

(b) The returned product is unused, in its original unopened packaging, with any labels untampered, and otherwise in a condition enabling us to sell the product as new;

(c) You must include a copy of the invoice so that we can identify the customer for the refund/ exchange.

(d) You must comply with the returns procedure set out in these terms and conditions; and 

(d) None of the exclusions set out under improper returns apply.

You will be responsible for paying postage costs associated with returns under this policy.

(4) Refunds

We will give you a refund for the full price of any product unless an exchange is requested and if properly returned by you in accordance with the terms of this returns policy.

We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.

We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any event, within 30 days following the day we received your returned product.

(5) Improper returns

Where you return a product in contravention of this policy and where you do not have any other legal right to return the product:

(a) We will not refund or exchange the product;

(b) We may retain the returned product until you pay to us such additional amount as we may charge for re-delivery of the returned product; and

(c) If we do not receive payment of such additional amount within 14 days of issuing a request for payment, we may destroy or otherwise dispose of the returned product in our sole discretion without any liability to you.
